Each seal features an elegant gold-coloured handle with a round seal face bearing an individual capital letter. Pressing the seal into warm wax creates a clear letter impression, allowing you to personalise a project with an initial or combine different letters for names, monograms and other decorative applications.

The seals can be used with traditional sealing wax sticks, sealing wax beads or glue gun sealing wax. Traditional wicked sealing wax can be melted directly onto the surface, while sealing wax beads can be melted in a sealing wax spoon and poured into position. For a quick and convenient alternative, Rolfes Glue Gun Sealing Wax can be dispensed directly from a suitable glue gun to create the pool of molten wax ready for stamping.

How to Create a Wax Seal
Prepare the sealing wax using your preferred method and place enough molten wax onto the desired surface to create a pool slightly larger than the round face of the seal.
Allow the molten wax to settle briefly, but do not allow it to harden. Position the Brass Handle Seal over the centre of the wax and press the seal face down firmly and evenly, taking care not to tilt it. Hold the seal in position for several seconds while the wax begins to cool and set.

Once the wax has firmed sufficiently, gently lift the seal away to reveal the letter impression. Allow the finished wax seal to cool and harden completely before handling.
For repeated sealing, allowing the seal face to cool between impressions can help prevent the warm wax from sticking to the stamp.
