Cernit Translucent Polymer Clay, 56g – Ruby Red

Cernit Translucent Polymer Clay is designed to create pieces with a clear, light-transmitting finish, making it ideal for advanced techniques such as layering, colour blending and creating depth within a design. Unlike opaque clays, this range allows light to pass through, producing unique visual effects once cured.

With a smooth, easy-to-condition texture, Translucent clay is well suited to shaping, sculpting and detailed work. It remains stable during modelling while allowing for precision and control, making it suitable for both intermediate and advanced users.

After baking, the clay develops its characteristic transparency, which can vary depending on thickness, colour and curing conditions. This makes it ideal for creating stained-glass effects, embedded designs and layered pieces where depth and light interaction are key elements.

Cernit polymer clay can be baked multiple times, allowing for complex, multi-layered designs and the addition of elements after initial curing. Once baked, the clay becomes durable, stable and slightly flexible, and can be sanded and polished to enhance its clarity and finish.

Baking Instructions
• Bake in a conventional oven at 110°C – 130°C
• Bake for up to 30 minutes
• Do not use a microwave
