St Petersburg Oil colour “Master Class”, Cadmium Lemon, 46ml

Master Class Oil Paints are artist quality paints made from high quality pigments and binders based on specially treated linseed oil, with the addition of natural resins – dammar and mastic – that have positive effect on visual qualities of paints.
Dammar resin improves the adhesion of the paint to the ground, and retains the brightness and uniformity of colour after drying. Mastic gives the paints a soft consistency and prevents cracking of the paint layer after drying.
Most of these extra fine paints consist of just one pigment, creating colours of superb intensity and purity with high light fastness and excellent mixing properties.
This range covers a broad spectrum of colours. To achieve optimal quality, the amount of grinding differs for each colour. In some cases, ‘Master-Class’ colours are ground up to 40 times. Pigment Load: 28-80%
After drying, there is no noticeable shift in colour tone from the original colour making these paints highly desirable for restoration of paintings of museum quality.
