Sealing wax is used to create secure, decorative seals on envelopes, documents, packaging, and creative projects. Today, it is available in two distinct formats, each suited to different uses.
Traditional sealing wax (with wick) is a shellac-based compound that is melted over a flame and applied by hand. It produces a classic, brittle seal that can crack if tampered with, making it ideal for certificates, contracts, formal correspondence, and ceremonial applications.
Flexible sealing wax (glue gun wax) is made from EVA hot melt polymer and is designed for ease of use and durability. It is applied using a standard glue gun and remains slightly flexible once set, making it suitable for postal use, bulk mailings, wedding invitations, and high-volume sealing.
Available in a range of classic and metallic colours, sealing wax offers both functional security and a refined, tactile finish for modern and traditional applications.
