Rolfes Traditional Sealing Wax Beads offer a convenient and versatile way to prepare sealing wax for traditional wax seals, decorative stationery and creative projects.
Rather than melting wax directly from a wicked stick, sealing wax beads allow the required quantity of wax to be selected before melting. Simply place the desired number of beads into a sealing wax melting spoon or other suitable heat-resistant melting vessel, apply heat until the wax has melted, and carefully pour the molten wax onto the surface to be sealed. A sealing stamp is then pressed into the warm wax to create the characteristic raised impression.

The bead format provides excellent control over the amount of wax being prepared. A smaller quantity can be melted for a compact seal, while additional beads can be used when a larger impression or greater volume of wax is required. This helps reduce unnecessary waste and makes it easier to achieve consistency when producing a number of seals.

Sealing wax beads also offer additional creative possibilities. Different colours can be melted together to create custom colour combinations, marbled effects and multi-coloured seals, allowing wax sealing to become part of the decorative design rather than simply a method of closing correspondence.
